The former USS Green Bay is now the HS Tolmi in the Hellenic Navy. LCDR Ioannis Kakavas HN, who is currently CO of the HS Tolmi, says that the ship is "in very good shape and sailing safely in the Aegean sea." LCDR Kakavas says that he is a "... US Naval Postgraduate School graduate (1997) from the Electronic Warfare curriculum and an US Naval Staff College graduate (2002) ...".
LCDR Ioannis Kakavas HN supplied the following link to the official website of the Hellenic Navy and to the section on the HS Tolmi. The HS Tolmi is hull number P-229.
Many thanks to LCDR Ioannis Kakavas HN!!!
